Author Ray Bradbury wrote the original "Farenheit" and Michael used the title without permission. Capitalizing on a Classic Book written by someone ELSE!

The above link is an indication of what my own opinion of this totally political diatribe is. 
Farenhiet 9/11 is mostly a Political Statement by a man who unashamedly admits he hates George Bush. Left out of the movie are quite a few things about 9/11 and the War in Iraq. The largest of which is the statement by Vladimir Putin (who is NO GW Bush Fan his own self) that he warned that Iraqi Intelligence was planning attacks on the United States. This alone was a justification for war.

Michael also leaves out the fact that Democratic Administrations past had cut our Intelligence Budget by over 1 BILLION Dollars. This and the NO Cooperation between the FBI and the CIA that the previous administration fostered contributed greatly to our NOT being prepared for 9-11.

Mr. Moore ignores all of this to tout the "Rhetoric" of George W. Bush, in the days after 9-11. He misses the point.

Bush was not on "vacation" 43% of the time as Moore states.  Moore counted WEEKENDS in that number (every President takes weekends off).  Without them Bush was only on "vacation" 13% of the time.  Not that ANY president is ever on vacation, since they are constantly surrounded by aides and military advisors and in constant contact with any and all branches of the government and receiving daily briefings on anything of importance.

The Osama Bin Laden's family was NOT ordered out of the country by Bush.  The Sept 11 Commission stated this in its report. Richard Clark actually says that HE ok'd the Bin Ladens to leave AFTER they were questioned. This occurred days after 9-11 NOT the day before 9-11.

The Sept 11 Commission also noted that Bush acted appropriately when he stayed at the school when notified of the attack and not left the room in a panic.  Even the school principle is on record saying that Bush acted appropriately and the worst thing he could have done was run out of the room.

By all means go and see this movie. Enrich Mr. Moore. Then the next time he produces some totally illogical movie you will ignore it and so will Hollywood when it BOMBS.

The Florida Election Part:
The real time line involved in the purging of the election rolls of felons and dead people occurred after a Pulitzer Prize Winning article by the Miami Herald.  The Herald found that over 50,000 felons and dead people were on the rolls and that some of them were actually "VOTING". This occurred 3 years before the Presidential Election of 2000. The voter registration was purged and letters sent out to everyone who could be reached. Over 5000 people who felt they were refused registration in error came forward. Over 2000 were restored to the roles. Only 108 voters who were identified as Felons did not have their cases resolved before the election.

In an article AFTER the 2000 Election the Miami Herald revealed that Several Democratic Counties actually did not use the purged rolls and allowed EVERYONE to vote. Thus the idea that the election rolls were artificially purged to help George Bush is a LIE and Mr. Moore Knows this.

The timing of this Movie's Release
Is there any doubt in any one'smind that Michael Moore wants to harm the Bush Campaign?

Is there any doubt in any person's mind that Michael Moore intends to vote for John Kerry? ( He supported Ralph Nader in 2000 helping to elect George Bush)

This movie was timed for release so that DVD's would come out just weeks before the election. Promotion for the DVD on Television with clips from the movie that are NOT flattering to George Bush will be played on the television during the Election Campaign. 

Great way to get around the McCain Feingold Election Laws recently passed which regulate Soft Money to campaigns. The promo's for this movie will not promote John Kerry, but they will attack George Bush. Ossama would be proud that his family has connections to this movie. He will defeat the one man who has hurt him the most without firing a shot. No other President has tried to get Ossama. Sudan wanted to GIVE him to the Clinton Administration and they turned him down. Of course Ossama and his supporters dont want George Bush either. They want a Democrat who will run from him.
